How long does it start working once I give the first one to my dog? If my neighbors dog are infested with fleas and jump on my dog will they die right away or does it repel the fleas too? How long does it take for the fleas and eggs?

It should start working straight away. It will kill the fleas if the jump on your dog. It protects your dog for 30 days but its a good idea to give another one after 2 weeks if you have an infestation.
